Neil McNeil Sr.

Ripley, Mississippi--- Neil McNeil, Sr. 84, On September 6, 2012 peacefully passed away to be with his Lord and Savior. Neil was born on December 14, 1927 in Roy, New Mexico to Jack Benson and Ethel Young McNeil. He was the youngest of five children, all older sisters, three of who have preceded him in death. He was raised in the community of Yates, N.M. until seven years old at time of his mothers death. He moved into the town of Roy, N.M. where he finished high school and immediately joined the Navy during WWII. After the Navy he came back to Albuquerque, NM to attend the University of New Mexico. After college he married and worked in sales and owned his own business in New Mexico, Colorado and the Washington area for many years. After being single several years he worked and lived in the Dallas, TX area during the seventies, where he met Loyce at the "Word of Faith Church" and they were married several months later. He had come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior at an older age and faithfully served the Lord from that time being an encourager to people regardless of who they were or what station in life they were in. He was a bold soul winner. He and wife, Loyce moved back to Ripley, MS in 1985. They have owned and operated McNeil Insurance Agency for the past 21 years, serving the North Mississippi area, specializing in senior products. He enjoyed helping people, an would always go the extra mile to do so. He is a member of New Life Mission Church in Ripley, MS. He is survived by his wife: Loyce S. Frodge (Jason), Jody Thompson, Caleb Thompson, Julia Bush, Jaron Bush, Matthew Williams, Madison Williams, Meghan W.
