Connie Mae Alberson

Connie Mae Alberson went on to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at the age of sixty-nine. She was born on November 28, 1955 in New Albany, MS to Sam and Eula Mae Jordan. Connie was a 1973 graduate of Ripley High School where she enjoyed many activities, including playing the clarinet in the band. She always had a love of music. Some of her children's fondest memories were singing together as a family while she played the piano. She later played the dulcimer with her mother and the North MS Dulcimer Association. Connie attended both NEMC and the Mississippi University for Women where she earned her B.S. in Nursing. She cared for others as a nurse for over 48 years. She always showed love and compassion for her patients. She was married to Connie Darol Alberson, the love of her life, for over 50 years. Family meant everything to them. Connie loved living on the farm because she had always loved the outdoors and animals especially horses and dogs. The family shared many memories while showing cattle with the Tippah 4-H for over 10 years, but Connie continued to be an avid supporter and volunteer for years after her own children were grown. She also served on the Beef Committee for the Tippah County Fair for 15 years. The later years of Connie's life were filled with precious memories with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing games with them and teaching them everything from cooking to playing the dulcimer. Above all, Connie loved the Lord. She truly had a servant's heart. She was a member of Tiplersville Church of Christ. Connie was preceded in death by her father, Sam Jordan; sister, Dianne Elmore. She is survived by her husband, Connie Darol Alberson of Ripley, MS; her mother, Eula Mae Jordan of Ripley, MS; one sister, Ronda Rinehart (Charlie) of Counce, TN; one son, Brandon Alberson (Kelley) of Falkner, MS; one daughter, Brenna Politte (Corey) of Guntown, MS; four grandchildren, Bella Alberson, Knox Politte, Paden Alberson, Meadow Mae Politte. Pallbearers will be: Tom Lindsey, Jordan Rinehart, Jeffrey Childs, Neal Alberson, Josh Mardis, Norman Alberson. Honorary Pallbearers are: Paul Joshlin, Jeffrey Bouchillon, Jeremy Smithey, Paden Alberson, Knox Politte, Corey Politte, Nick Dawson, Meadow Mae Politte. Special music will be played and sung by Bella Alberson, Stella Rinehart and Jordan Rinehart. Bro. Donald Roberson will be officiating.
