FALKNER, MS - William Earl Wilbanks, 87, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021, at Tippah County Hospital in Ripley. He was born on May 24, 1933, to William Carl and Elmer Foster Wilbanks in Tippah County - Mississippi. He was retired from the Mississippi Department of Transportation and also a retired United States Navy Veteran. He was a member of Hamilton Baptist Church in Walnut. Services will be Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 1:00 PM at McBride Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 10, 2021, from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at McBride Funeral Home. William Earl is survived by one daughter: Teresa Davis of Ashland, MS; three sons: Scott Wilbanks (Christy) of Falkner, MS, Paul Wilbanks of Sheffield, AL, Phillip Wilbanks (Misty) of Falkner, MS; two sisters: Joy Hughes of Chalybeate, MS, Billie Hall of Walnut, MS; ten grandchildren: Shelby Wilbanks, Adrienne Wilbanks, Claudia Wilbanks, Cara Moore (Landon), Vivian Wilbanks, Kyle Wilbanks, Magen Wilbanks, Taylor Wilbanks, Adam Davis (Morgan), Matthew Davis; and two great-grandchildren: Lucy and Rawlins Moore.
