Ripley, MS - James Henry Melvin Frazier, 78, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born on January 21, 1942, to Henry Clifton and Anna Mae Null Frazier in Walnut, MS. James was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was a retired Truck Driver for Tidwell Trucking Company and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 23, 2020, at McBride Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Terry Vuncannon officiating. Burial will follow in Fellowship Cemetery will full Military Honors. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 22, 2020, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, and Thursday, January 23, 2020, from 7:00AM until service time at 1:00 PM at McBride Funeral Home Chapel. James is survived by his wife: Martha Frazier of Ripley, MS; five daughters: Tracey Paul (Jeff) of Ashland, MS, Kim Hall (Frank) of Myrtle, MS, Mary Green of Blue Mountain, MS, Danyell Haygood of Ripley, MS, Jennifer Niswonger of St. Louis, MO; two sisters: Sherrie Frazier (Johnny) of Walnut, MS, Joyce Crum of Corinth, MS; five brothers: Gene Cook (Julie), Roger Cook, Donald Cook (Rita), Glen Cook (Judy) all of Kossuth, MS, Lamar Cook of Memphis, TN; twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great-grandchildren; he also leaves a host of nieces and nephews. James was preceded in death by his parents; a son: James Frazier Copeland; two sisters: Thersa Rennrick, Lisa Frazier; five brothers: Dwight Frazier, Michael Frazier, Darwin Frazier, Ted Cook, Thomas Cook.
